Jonathan has nearly 40 years experience in structural consultancy across a wide range of sectors such as: Education, Commercial, Residential and Public Sector including Design and Build projects with major contractors.
He became company managing director in January 2010.
As well as having overall responsibility as managing director, Jonathan is a “hands on” principal projects engineer responsible for structural design in all forms of construction such as structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and load bearing masonry and additionally specialises in timber frame design.
Jonathan also has considerable experience in the design of all forms of temporary works, from complex propping and facade retention schemes to working platforms and crane stability designs.
As an active amd commited STEM ambassador, Jonathan regularly visits schools, college and universities to promote and inspire students into a career in strucural and civil engineering.
When time permits, he enjoys both watching and playing football, listening to live music and has a real passion for angling. More recently he has had to step up to the role of grandfather which is a whole new experience!
Stephen has been a Chartered Structural Engineer for over 20 years and is a Director at Morrish and Partners. Before joining Morrish and Partners he was a director at Richard Jackson. With over 30 years’ experience within the construction industry working mainly in the private and for a short time in the public sectors on a wide variety of projects in Education, Commercial, Residential, Retail with new build, refurbishment and conversion.

Nathan, since starting at Morrish in July 2005, has gained structural engineering experience in the construction industry working on commercial and residential new builds, conversions, refurbishments & extensions and also industrial buildings.
Nathan is responsible for the production of structural detailing and design including reinforced concrete detailing; he is responsible for the company CAD standards and is developing the use of “Revit” 3D drafting software within the company. Nathan is also responsible for Quality Assurance within the company to ensure a consistent and very high standard of work.
He is an active STEM Ambassador, working with local schools and colleges promoting the structural engineering career. Nathan is on the Institution of Civil Engineers Suffolk Branch committee upon which he is the School Liaison Officer.
Currently studying MSc in Structural Engineering part-time at University of East London.
Nathan recently had to hang up his football boots due a knee problem, but he now manages Barton Willows in the SIL Division 2. After starving off 3 relegation threatened seasons, he is widely regarded as the Sam Allardyce of the SIL as well as the angriest manager in the game!
Harry graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2011 with a MEng in Structural Engineering with Architectural Studies. He began his career working in Cambridge where he gained valuable experience on a variety of projects, including works for the university and colleges with a role as resident engineer on a basement development within the oldest college in Cambridge. Since then he has worked for a multitude of clients including educational establishments, public service bodies and private developers.
Joining Morrish in 2017 for new challenges and to be closer to his young family, he now works for a spectrum of clients covering individual dwellings/extensions, refurbishments, alterations aswell as commercial and residential new builds/developments. Hoarding design has now become a bit of a specialty, working closely with a number of contractors to help develop buildable and cost effective temporary works solutions.
Whilst pretending to be a cyclist, he much prefers spending time with his wife and kids, trying new beers and attempting to keep up with the latest music.
Daniel gained his status as a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2014 and joined Morrish in 2017.
He has worked on a wide range of structural projects from small domestic extensions to eighteen months as an On-site Structural Engineer for the Heathrow Terminal 2A building. Extensive experience has been gained designing concrete and steel frame buildings, temporary works, load bearing masonry buildings etc. Clients have included Tesco, Mcdonalds, Greenwich University, Debenhams and many others.
Lloyd has been with the company since August 2011 having decided to pursue his career in Civil/Structural Engineering under a training agreement with Morrish.
Following his completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering at London South Bank University, Lloyd undertakes drawing production and detailing for a number or projects in the office, including structural analysis & design to accompany and touching on the world of 3D structural modelling for Finite Element Analysis.
He is also an active STEM Ambassador, visiting local schools and colleges to enthuse students and help spread understanding of the various pathways into a career in engineering.
In his free time, you will find him up a mountain or brewing craft beer.
After spending an afternoon a week in the office obtaining work experience, Ben started with the company in September 2015 under a training agreement with Morrish Consulting Engineers. He works under the company’s more senior, experienced engineers to produce CAD drawings for various ongoing projects, as well as general office duties.
Currently, Ben is on the verge of completing his BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Civil Engineering part time at City College Norwich and will progress to a HND course in Civil Engineering in September. This will then feed into a part-time degree in the future.
He also enjoys to slappa da bass, copious amounts of sugar in his coffee and embarrassing himself at Christmas parties.
Marie helps to take care of us all and is responsible for helping with the day to day running of the office, looking after the accounts and supplying everyone with copious amounts of coffee!
When Marie is not at the office, she is busy getting her hands dirty down on her allotment whilst also trying to replace the occasional office treat with a something slighly healthier... with limited results!
Robert has over 50 years’ experience as a consulting engineer across all sectors of the construction industry including commercial, residential, education, health and is responsible for structural design and advice including listed and historic buildings, refurbishments, conversions, basement design and in addition specialises in scaffold design and temporary works. Robert also acts as an expert witness on structural matters including subsidence.
Robert has numerous long standing relationships with local companies i.e. Greene King, Design & build contractors, Local Authorities and religious establishments.
