Jonathan Parker – Company Managing Director

Qualifications: BEng (with First Class Hons)

Jonathan has nearly 40 years experience in structural consultancy across a wide range of sectors such as: Education, Commercial, Residential and Public Sector including Design and Build projects with major contractors.
He became company managing director in January 2010.

As well as having overall responsibility as managing director, Jonathan is a “hands on” principal projects engineer responsible for structural design in all forms of construction such as structural steelwork, reinforced concrete and load bearing masonry and additionally specialises in timber frame design.

Jonathan also has considerable experience in the design of all forms of temporary works, from complex propping and facade retention schemes to working platforms and crane stability designs.

As an active amd commited STEM ambassador, Jonathan regularly visits schools, college and universities to promote and inspire students into a career in strucural and civil engineering. 

When time permits, he enjoys both watching and playing football, listening to live music and has a real passion for angling. More recently he has had to step up to the role of grandfather which is a whole new experience!
